In Person Counselling
Online Counselling
In person counselling sessions provide a safe and inviting space in our Joondalup rooms. Face-to-face sessions offer direct personal interaction which assists with building a strong therapeutic relationship with your therapist. In person counselling also enables better reading of nonverbal cues and expression of empathy which assists when working through deep, nuanced issues.

When working with couples we prefer to conduct sessions in person to foster an intimate environment where both partners can engage fully and focus solely on their relationship in a space free of external distractions. With face-to-face therapy the therapist can more effectively mediate discussions, observe dynamics, and provide feedback. In addition, the feeling of presence and engagement is enhanced which strengthens the emotional bond between partners.
Online counselling is an accessible, affordable, convenient, time-efficient, and evidence-based option for therapy. Research confirms online therapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy and has added benefits for those who are unable to access in person counselling or for those who prefer the privacy and comfort of their home environment for therapy sessions. Online counselling is also a suitable option for consistent support during travel, relocation, or for those with FIFO work schedules to maintain therapy progress without interruption.

Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk and talk therapy involves meeting at an outdoor location with your therapist where you will walk together for one hour whilst discussing the issues you want to explore. Walk and talk therapy incorporates gentle exercise and enjoying nature to improve mental health and wellbeing. Walk and talk therapy improves mood, reduces anxiety and depression, promotes clarity of thought, enhances self-awareness, fosters the relationship between client and therapist, promotes reflection, and contributes to peace of mind. Walk and talk counselling sessions are available in Burns Beach.
