Counselling in Joondalup for Individuals and Couples

In Person Counselling
Online Counselling
Most of my counselling work takes place face to face from my consulting rooms in Joondalup.
I enjoy working in person because it allows the conversation to unfold naturally and gives us the chance to notice not only what is being said, but also what may be harder to put into words.
Individual counselling may involve talking through what has been happening, understanding patterns or past experiences that are still affecting you, and looking at practical ways to cope or respond differently.
I also provide couples counselling in Joondalup. Wherever possible, I prefer to see couples in person, particularly when we are working with conflict, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection or rebuilding trust.
You do not need to know exactly what you want to talk about before you come. We can work that out together.
Online counselling is available for adult clients when meeting in person is difficult or impractical.
It may suit people who live further away, travel regularly, work FIFO, or have circumstances that make attending the Joondalup rooms difficult.
Sessions take place by video and follow much the same format as face-to-face counselling.
I generally recommend in-person counselling where it is practical, but online counselling can be a useful alternative when that is not possible.

Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk counselling is available in Burns Beach for some individual adult clients.
Rather than sitting in a counselling room, we talk while walking at a comfortable pace.
Some people find that walking side by side helps conversation feel more natural or less intense. The counselling itself remains the focus, with the walk simply providing a different setting.
Walk and Talk sessions are weather dependent and will not suit every client or every concern, so we can discuss whether it is appropriate before booking this type of session.
